ABOUT US

Wausau West DECA is an association of marketing and business students who strive to become professionally responsible, academically prepared, experienced leaders, and community-oriented. We take part in social activities, community service, and competitive events. There is a little something for everyone within our organization!

 

Each year, we host a plethora of social events for our members including - a tailgate party before a football game, a pool party, a sunset hike, a bowling night, and many more activities! During October, we host DECA week and have new activities for all students everyday such as DECA pickleball, trivia games, and a homeroom miracle minute. On the other hand, our chapter focuses a lot of effort on community service. Trick-or-Can is one of our favorite events because we are able to give back to the community by donating non-perishable food items to the Women's Community. Outside of this, we are proud supporters of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Adopt-A-Highway, MDA, and other organizations! There are three phases of competition that our members have the opportunity to compete in, which include Districts, State, and International (ICDC).
