Meet the 2023-2024 DECA Leadership Team!
Charlotte Bell
Charlotte Bell
As a senior, Charlotte is serving as a co-president of Wausau West DECA. She is also involved in tennis, soccer, Link Crew, Spanish Club, NHS and student council. Her initiative this year is to increase member participation and partner with other clubs in Wausau West.
Nora Keele
Nora is serving as a co-president this year of Wausau West DECA as a junior. Outside of school, she is involved in swimming, dance, Link Crew, NHS, and student council. Her initiative this year is to host a mini Districts event to help students prepare for competition.
Emmy Skogstad
Emmy is a senior this year, and she is serving as a DECA officer. Emmy is involved in volleyball, track, dance, Warrior Power, student council, Link Crew, and NHS. Her goal this year is to implement more member feedback to better include our members in each event.
Ryan Trucco
Ryan is a senior this year, and he is serving as a DECA officer. Outside of DECA, Ryan is a part of soccer, golf, Link Crew, NHS, and Pub Lab at Wausau West. This year he hopes to incorporate more community involvement for our chapter.
Lauren Edwards
Lauren, a senior, is serving as an officer this year. She is also involved in cross country, Outdoor Adventure Club, and Warrior Power. Her officer initiative is to expand the demographic of Wausau West DECA by partnering with other clubs.
TJ Sondelski
TJ is a junior, and he is serving as a DECA officer for the school year. He also participates in soccer, NHS, and Link Crew. His initiative for the school year as an officer is to increase community involvement.
Avery Kessen
Avery is a sophomore and she is serving as an officer this year. Outside of DECA, she is involved in cheerleading and student council. Her officer goal for the year is to provide more hands-on ways for students to prepare for competition.
Jackson Albee
Jackson is a senior this year, and he is serving as a school store manager. Outside of DECA, Jackson is a part of football, baseball, basketball, student council, and Peyton's Promise. His goal this year is to compete in the finals at our International Competition for SBE.
Sadie Steinbach
Sadie is a junior this year and is serving as a school store manager. In her free time, she is involved in tennis, dance, Link Crew, and NHS. Her goal this year is to see Westside Connection reach record-breaking sales.
Bennett Matteson
Bennett is a junior this year and is serving as a school store manager. He also participates in football, basketball, track, link crew, student council, Warrior WAY, and the pop concert. His manager initiative this year is to introduce new apparel that will allow students to represent themselves as Warriors.
Mr. Hert, Mrs. Fuller, and Mrs. Waldman
Mr. Hert, Mrs. Fuller, and Mrs. Waldman are our chapter advisors for Wausau West DECA. They are passionate, hard-working teachers in the business department at West. They have each been involved in DECA for a number of years and are extremely excited to continue preparing young leaders for success in the business world. These wonderful advisors make our chapter what it is, and we are so grateful for their constant help and support!
